At LAMA we offer an array of buying options to accommodate your bidding preferences:
In-person, absentee, and/or bidding over the telephone

At LAMA we always encourage you to attend the preview to inspect the items at auction. Viewing the item in person is invaluable to the auction experience. Previews are generally seven days before the auction. For exact dates and times, please visit the Events page. If you cannot attend the preview, we welcome you to request a condition report prior to bidding.

IN-PERSON (LIVE)

To bid at the auction, arrive early to register for a bidding paddle. To register bring your driver’s license and a major credit card. Be sure to read the Conditions of Sale in the catalogue. You may also register at the preview.

ABSENTEE

If you cannot attend the auction you may leave an absentee bid. In this case we will act as your agent and place the bid for you as if you were attending the auction in-person. Click here for the Absentee Bid Form.

TELEPHONE

Another option is to bid live on the phone with one of our representatives. In this case fill out the Telephone Bid Form. Please note LAMA is on Pacific Standard Time. We encourage you to be on a land line as cellular and digital phones are not as clear and sometimes unreliable. We have a limited amount of phone lines available for bidding, therefore submit your form early. This service is on a first come, first served basis. Click here for the Telephone Bid Form.
