LA Modern Featured Artist Gaetano Pesce

Back to featured artists

Throughout the years Los Angeles Modern Auctions (LAMA) has offered  various works by Gaetano Pesce in many important modern auctions. It is therefore appropriate that LAMA’s Director, Peter Loughrey, co-curated and co-sponsored Gaetano Pesce’s first solo West Coast exhibition, “Gaetano Pesce: Pieces from a Larger Puzzle” at the Italian Cultural Institute (IIC). The exhibit showcased a variety of objects including prototypes, production models, video and  audio, all of which span across Pesce’s career as a world-renowned artist, architect, and designer. This exhibit is the result of Peter’s enthusiasm for great Italian design, which has been the driving force in bringing  together an excellent survey of Pesce’s works to the Los Angeles community.

The exhibit ran from July 8 – August 31, 2010 at the Italian Cultural Institute.
